Davison Rugeley, L.L.P. is dedicated to providing quality legal services to meet the unique needs of each client. Our office is in Wichita Falls, Texas, which is approximately two hours northwest of the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex. Our primary area of practice is civil litigation. We represent clients in both federal and state court in North Texas, including the counties of Wichita, Archer, Baylor, Clay, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wilbarger, Wise, and Young. Our practice includes the representation of clients before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Wichita Falls Division, as well as the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas, Wichita Falls Division.

Our goal is to provide quality legal services, which is to obtain the results that our clients desire, but to be cost-effective in doing so. Quality legal work requires not only the ability to perform the work, but the dedication to providing quality legal representation. We care about and take pride in the quality of our work. We appreciate that civil litigation can be expensive and strive to be practical in litigating our clients' cases and meeting our clients' needs. Our experience allows us to provide effective and efficient legal representation.

Effective representation in civil litigation requires early and continuing evaluation of our clients' cases and needs. Clients come to us with problems - it is our goal to solve these problems. Meritless claims should be resolved early, and by summary judgment or other pretrial procedure, without exposing the client to the risk and expense of trial. Claims which cannot be resolved by an early dismissal should be properly evaluated. If a fair settlement can be negotiated, the client's interest may be better served. If a case is to be tried, thorough preparation is essential to success. We believe in doing what is best for our clients.

Our clients include industry, financial institutions, insurance companies, business, hospitals and physicians, governmental entities, and individuals. A significant part of our practice includes the defense of liability claims - automobile, industrial, and other. We also represent health care providers in the defense of medical malpractice claims. We represent national and community banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions in commercial litigation matters, including bankruptcy. Our representation of governmental entities includes defense of civil right claims and personal injury liability claims. Other areas of litigation include employment, estate and trust, real estate, and business and consumer disputes.
